College Experience:
Cleveland decided to sit out his sophmore year to concentrate on academics. Returning in 1996, he made a smooth transition back to the lineup, rankking second on the team with 59 receptions, the sixth-highest single-season total in school history despite missing the last three games due to a suspension for violation of team policy.

As a senior, Cleveland turned in a solid performance, ranking third on the team in receptions, while also leading the team in kick returns (19-401) and punt returns (22-183). He departs te Knighs boasting the school record for most kickoff return TDs with four.
