Pro Experience:
A superb athlete who is making the transition from college QB to pro S...has seen almost all of his action on special teams in the NFL and has 15 career tackles in 27 games...also had made 6 tackles and 2 PD in substitute defensive looks...played on the defensive side of the ball for the 1st time in his football career and saw most of his time a rookie in 1998.

College Highlights:
A tremendous athlete who played QB and led his squad to a co-national championship. Engineered one of the most memorable last-second plays in NCAA history (a deflected pass caught in the end zone) to help defeat Missouri, en route to the co-national championship. Posted a 23-2 record as a starting QB after transferring from Stanford, where he began his collegiate career under Bill Walsh...as a senior he was the only Nebraska player to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in both passing (1,237) and rushing (1,095). Set school records for most carries, yards and touchdowns by a quarterback in a single season, with 176-1,095-19
