College
Highlights:
Trent concluded his Indiana career third on the Hoosiers all-time
passing charts with 5,400 yards, while his 5,916 yards in total offense
also ranks third on the all-time list. Trent completed 421 of 755 pass
attempts with 23 going for touchdowns. He also gained 516 rushing yards
and scored 20 touchdowns, including a 57-yard TD scamper. As a senior,
he passed for 1,780 yards (154 of 278). He set a school record with 2,627
yards passing and 2,829 yards in total offense as a junior, passing for
more than 200 yards in nine games. He also threw for 12 TDs and rushed
for 11 that season while guiding the Hoosiers to a 24-0 victory over Baylor
in the Copper Bowl. Against Auburn in the Peach Bowl as a sophomore, Trent
rushed for three scores.
