Has served as a backup to some of the better safeties in the league (LeRoy Butler and Chuck Cecil with the Packers, Steve Atwater and Tyrone Braxton with the Broncos, and Darryl Williams with the Seahawks) ... joined the Eagles on 4/15/99 as an unrestricted free agent and is expected to open the season at strong safety, the position manned by Michael Zordich since 1994 .

College Highlights:
Three-year starter after transferring from the University of the Pacific. First player in Big Sky Conference history to be named conference Defensive Player of the Year twice. Two-time Associated Press NAIA II first-team All-America pick. Led team with a career high 129 tackles as a senior. Added seven interceptions and three blocked kicks. Named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week five time in his career. Winner of the Grizzly Golden Helmet Award which is given to the team's hardest hitter in 1987 and 1988. Two-time all-conference all-academic choice. Graduated with a degree in Business Education.
