had the distinction of being the first player taken by the XFL...drafted
by the Los Angeles Xtreme where he backed up XFL MVP Tommy Maddox. Scott
was 2 of 9 for 45 yards and an Interception, also rushing 5 times for
-15 yards... Has spent four seasons
as a back up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who allocated him to the NFL
Europe League... Played for the Berlin Thinder of the NFLE during 2000
where he was 148 of 265 for 1,651 yards, 12 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
He also ran the ball 17 times for 36 yards and had a touchdown... Was
acquired by the Cleveland Browns in the 1999 expansion draft... Returned
to the Buccaneers for the 1999 season... Saw action in one game in 1996
at Detroit when he completed 2 of 3 passes for 9 yards.
College

Finished career as Maryland's all-time leading passer, breaking Boomer
Esiason's marks with 650 completions from 982 attempts for 7,301 yards
and 49 touchdowns... Career touchdown total ranks fourth all-time in Atlantic
Coast Conference history... Also stands second on Maryland's all-time
punting charts with a 41.3-yard average... As a senior started five of
seven games and totalled 125 completions from 188 attempts for 1,176 yards,
