in 1999 with 36 receptions for 427 yards.
Professional Experience:
Selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round (158th pick overall)
of the 1994 NFL Draft. A.J. has played mostly on special teams over the
last two seasons...An excellent pass receiver who is working on his blocking
skills...Made 53-man roster last season after a productive preseason in
which he led the team with 12 catches for 137 yards and a touchdown...Ofodile
(oh-FAH-da-lay) saw his first NFL action in 1997, playing in 12 games
mostly on special teams...He has gained experience in the World League
and on the practice squads of the Ravens (1996) and Steelers (1995)...A
fifth-round choice of the Bills in 1995, A.J. played for the Rhein Fire
in the World League in 1997 and caught 10 passes for 146 yards and a TD,
as the Fire advanced to the World Bowl against Barcelona.

All-American and All-Big Eight conference first-team selection in 1993

season record for TEs with 55 catches for 589 yards and four TDs ... Became
the only Big Eight receiver to grab 10 passes in a game during 1993, good

player in school history to have at least 10 receptions in more than one
game during his career with his 10 grabs for 88 yards vs. Oklahoma ...
Was scheduled to redshirt for the 1991 season, but injuries to the TE
unit forced him on to the field by midseason. Finished Missouri career
with 73 receptions for 851 yards and six TDs...Earned 1993 All-America
honors and All-Big Eight by The Poor Man's Guide to the NFL Draft...Set
school and conference records for TEs with 55 catches for 589 yards and
four TDs as a junior, his final for the Tigers...Had two 10-reception
games...Snapped Kellen Winslow's school record for most receptions in
a game...Had 17 receptions for 244 yards and two TDs as a sophomore.
